- My husband and I are adoptive parents to children from foster care. All of our kids have been special needs in some way, and we had 2 beautiful children that moved to another home, taking our hearts with them. I write the foster adoption blog for adoptiongblogs.com, I wrote "The Adoption.com Guide to Adopting from Foster Care" and a I was a contributing author to "Adoption Parenting" from EMK Press.
