As 2007 turned to 2008 my girls and I were turning over ideas about ways we could help other orphans. After searching the internet and speaking with other adoptive parents we finally decided to adopt the Shoes For Souls project led by Buckner International Adoptions in Texas. Dear Sharon -

Thank you so much for the kind words about Hope's Boy. They meant a great deal to receive.

Congratulations on being an adoptive mom! Your girls sound so very lucky to have you. I ordered my copy of Chicken Soup for the Adopted Soul and very much look forward to reading it and your wonderful story.

The road for adoptive parents can be a difficult one. It is so good to hear of the important work that you have done with supporting adoptive parents and their adoptive children. That support is so critical for the long term success of those new families.

Thank you again for encouraging note. I hope very much that we will keep in touch.

Very best,
Andrew Bridge

Hi Sharon!

Welcome to Adoption Writers. How wonderful to be a part of the Chicken Soup for the Adopted Soul. Your job as a professional counselor must give you a lot of satisfaction as you see families come together as a cohesive whole. It's so nice to meet you.

Blessings,
Sherry
