- My wife and I were called to orphan/adoption ministry in early 2005. We started an orphan ministry in our local church and soon started Families for the Children. Our passion is for the orphans of China and southeast Asia. We have lead teams to visit orphanages in China and are trying to adopt an older, special needs girl. I lead our local ministry, give seminars on orphan awareness, and have begun minor writing. If God blesses I hope to do more. We have adopted one older child from China and in the process of adopting a second.
