I wasn't raised Catholic ... in fact, I spent the first 30 years of my life in a variety of Evangelical Christian denominations, including four in Bible School and several short-term missions trips. So, when in 1994 I became Catholic (how that happened is a story for another time), I did not have a natural affinity with Jesus' mother, Mary. I decided to create my own list, based on my experience as an adoptive parent. I posted it here.

Tell me ... how would you add to this list?

Hi, Heidi~
Welcome to Adoption Writers.
Funny thing~ my name is Heidi~ and I was sure I would marry a guy with the last name of Hess. It didn't quite work out as planned, though.
Anyway, your name really caught my eye.
