If there were only 43 hours in the day....

Sorry to have not posted sooner.

Sherrie Eldridge and I have been busy working on the most exciting launch for her newest book Forever Fingerprints and I promised to share it before....so here it is and I would love to see some of you guys involved helping us out by sharing the word and perhaps doing a reading yourself. It would mean a lot to both of us! And what a way to create a positive adoption story in the media!!!

It's Great to Be Here

Hi to everyone and thanks for inviting me to be a part of this group. I am an advocate for adoption and run a small press called EMK Press (visit us by heading here...http://www.emkpress.com). Also known as the Toolbox Press, we publish tools and resources for families touched by adoption. Wrong! I have read We See the Moon! I looked at the EMK site and remember it now, seeing the cover. Lovely illustrations.

Hi Carrie! Hurrah for children's book authors! My husband is just to the birthing stages of his book, which is a bit different because it's a Chinese man adopting a Chinese girl - in China. Hopefully will inspire the Chinese to love and keep their daughters.

Anyway, the illustrations are just finished (they are beautiful) and so we've got decisions about printing etc. coming up soon. Would love any wisdom you've picked up. (like "Whatever you do, don't do this!:: _______...")

You can check out the book at http://www.adoption-by-grace.com/girl_update.html

I've read I Don't Have Your Eyes, but haven't seen We See the Moon, I don't think. I'll check it out. Just signed up for the book-exchange, so let me know if you'd like a copy of Carried Safely Home.

Grace and peace,

Kristin

Hi Carrie,

I thought I'd seen every adoption book on the planet, but yours are both new to me. Thanks for introducing yourself and EMK Press. I'd love to feature you sometime on my Exploring Adoption blog -- I'm always looking for ways to tout additional resources for adoptive families.
