- My name is Debbi; my husband and I have three children, all adopted at birth. Our family is transracial; Dh and I are Caucasian and our children are African American and Native American. I am the founder of Child of Promise Ministries, and I speak and write about our adoption experiences. My book, Child of Promise, will be published in Spring 2008. We live in Central Illinois, in the middle of cornfields and pumpkin patches :^)
