- I placed my daughter Lori for adoption at her birth in 1969. She found me in 1995, and the past 13 years have been the best years of my life. No words seem adequate enough to describe the joy I felt when I got to meet her for the first time. "I Choose This Day – Mournings and Miracles of Adoption" is the name of my published book that describes our lives before and after we met. My husband Roger and I love to spend time with our children and grandchildren; life just doesn’t get any better than that.
