- As an adoptive mother of open adoption, I have found the amount of gift products available for the recognition of birthparents to be underwhelming. As a result, I felt inspired to create gift books to express the sentiments felt toward the birthparents of open adoption. I am looking to expand this line of books to include gifts for adoptive parents from birthparents as well as gifts for the adopted individual.
