Educating and Advocating For Adoption Through the Written Word
Collecting books for Sept. meeting
Hello, fellow adoption authors.
My church's quarterly adoption and orphan advocacy meeting is scheduled for Sept. 13. We don't have a set agenda yet, and I'm thinking about making an "adoption book" theme. If any of you would like to publicize your books by sending signed copies to use as give-aways at this meeting, let me know. I could also pass out your cards or other material. It's not a big group (about 20 people, probably), but every little bit, right?
In fact (and maybe I'm getting carried away now), if you want to send a little note for me to read to the group, in keeping with the "adoption books" theme of the meeting, go ahead. Doesn't that sound fun? Sounds like something I might have read right out of Laura's adoption network book (maybe I did...?)
Also, if you send books in time, Phil or I could probably read them (without bending any pages or breaking the spine!) and review on www.adoption-by-grace.com before we pass them out. A double-use strategy!
